brinner

Has anyone seen the Scrubs episode when Turk talks about how he loves brinner? It's breakfast for dinner, put the two together and you get brinner. I love to make brinner. Tonight I made egg in a hole. I remember my mom making it when I was a kid and now my kids love it. You put the egg in a hot frying pan and then put buttered bread with a hole cut out of the middle on top of the egg with the yolk in the hole. I cut it up and the kids dip it in ketchup. .... brinner.

We like to call that brinner choice "Eggs in a Nest"! Funny thing, I have never seen anyone else make this egg in bread meal...so glad to see others enjoy it! Yummy!

Berk calls it one eyed jack. So many names for one thing

We call them eggs in a nest, or egg in a window, and they are a total favorite around here too.

My kids love those. We call them fisherman eggs. Not sure why but that's what my mom called them. We love brinner too!
