happiest place on earth

A week ago sunday we flew to California. We spent 3 days in Disneyland and 1 day at the beach. We had such an amazing time. The kids were wonderful. They had such a great time, no fighting or crying the entire trip. Oh and I must mention the weather. We spent the entire trip in shorts and sandles because the temp. was in the mid 80's the entire time. I haven't been on a real vacation like this in such a long time. I had forgotten how wonderful vacations are. In fact, so wonderful that I have had a bit of a hard time getting back in to the real world. Coming back to the snow was the real kicker.

Mo got braver this year and rode some bigger rides. Obviously she loved it.

Ella loved her own "princess case" and wouldn't let anyone help her.
We got to eat breakfast at Goofy's kitchen. Berk was a great dad and spent most the time with his little princess doing whatever she wanted to do. Here they are on the carousel.

Mo and I on Thunder Mt. railroad. She looked like this most the ride. It was her favorite though and we rode it many times.

This was L's favorite ride, mine too. She waved at Sully throughout the ride. It was one of the few movie rides that didn't scare her. It was a darling ride.

This was also one of L's favorite rides. There wasn't a line at one point so she would hope off one tea cup and get on a different color. Berk was with her then not me. I only had the stomach to ride this ride once.

Loved mickey mouse!!!
This was the Finding Nemo ride. I thought it was absolutely darling.

The water was really cold, but that didn't stop these two.
The beach was amazing. I had to keep reminding myself that it was January!!

We got up at 5 in the morning to catch our plane. This is leaving the park the ist day at Disneyland. The little princess crashed.

Disneyland really is the happiest place on earth!!!!

Oh Amy, how fun! I'm so jealous. I played the piano for you while you were away. It was great. Let's trade jobs.

I love, love your pics of this trip! Ooh, and I'm knitting up a storm.

Have to take your word on it that it is the Happiest Place on Earth. Glad you got to go, but we missed you, it was weird driving by your house and knowing no one was there.

Hey kelley, I love them. We got them at Walmart. THey are Eddie bauer. It gives them some freedom and I can relax a little. It also seems like they feel more secure knowing they wont get lost.
